Tyler Stout played NCAA basketball at West Virginia University from 2005-2007. After a career ending injury he began focusing on environmental science and animal behavior. Through federal and state grants, he started a honeybee research lab and has developed a parasiticide that prevents colony collapse disorder, a puzzling epidemic that has crushed honeybee populations, devastated crops, and skyrocketed food costs. His groundbreaking product will benefit everyone, as humans and the foods we eat are inextricably tied to the lifecycle of the honeybee.
