A title sequence pitch for the 2011-2012 CW television series RINGER.
Sarah Michelle Gellar stars as a woman who goes on the run, hiding out by assuming the life of her wealthy identical twin sister. Also starring Ioan Gruffudd, Nestor Carbonell and Kristoffer Polaha.
The opening titles kick off with an animated transition from the final moments of the show's opening 'teaser'. The first few seconds of footage in the pitch were taken from a commercial for the series, but the sequence is designed to incorporate a customized animated transition driven by the different ending of each episode's teaser.
In addition, the artwork within the pitch uses existing publicity photos of the cast, which would be replaced by production footage if this pitch were to be developed any further.
RINGER premiered on Tuesday, September 13th, 2011.
