Addison's Disease, or primary adrenal insufficiency, is a long-term endocrine disorder in which the adrenal glands do not produce enough steroid hormones. Being a rare disease and difficult to diagnose with many diffuse symptoms, the diseased often suffer several years before receiving proper diagnosis and treatment. For some, that moment is just too late.
We strive to spread awareness about Addison's Disease on a global level, because we think it's important.
