Innovation has been a recurring theme for the Sarawak civil service as it seeks to improve the service delivery through an Innovation & Creative Circle, ICC also known as KIK.
This year’s participation has tripled since the last ICC, recording a highest number since shifting its focus on innovation, two years ago.
Setting a great opportunity for government agencies to come up with bright ideas and present what they feel the solution is to help improve service delivery.
All conventions across 3 zones received huge responses with a total of 18 teams making it to the final and were at Kuching recently to present their best inventive projects.
Out of the 18 teams that participated, 6 winners were picked out from the technical, and administration category
For Technical category:
Champion: Millenium Sabe from Land & Survey, Kuching Headquarters
2nd: Q-INNO dari Public Works Department, Bintulu
3rd: Mesra Alam from Department of Agriculture, Sarawak
For Management category:
Champion: 4-Quest from Land & Survey, Miri
2nd: SWAN dari Education Department Sarawak
3rd: Lands Tahai Q2 from Land & Survey of Limbang
