A tour through an overlooked habitat of the Bahamas. We filmed on 4 islands (Andros, Abaco, Nassau and Eleuthera) and captured some of the unique formations and wildlife present here.
We had tons of support making this, including a 9 person volunteer team who hiked for an hour each way through a steamy forest carrying rails, lights, cameras, underwater gear and food to capture some of the dolly shots (used only briefly!) and cave shrimp/fish interactions.
A lot of logistical and research support came from Nancy Albury from the Bahamas Antiquities, Monuments and Museum Corporation. And to Tim Higgs and Brian Kakuk for capturing some of the amazing blue hole footage. A big thanks!
