When you invest in your bulls, you're spending thousands of dollars to bring great genetics into your herd for the next few years. The last thing you want to see is bulls fighting each other. That's at least 4,000 pounds of force blasting each other and injuries are distinctly possible. If they break a leg or break their vital equipment (remember, bulls are only good for one thing!), then you've lost money and those genetics. My boys separate and look for an opening to break up the fight. Brandon listens to advice from his grandfather, and I stay well out of the way. I'm riding a colt, and definitely don't want to be too close. It's dangerous for bulls, horses, and riders. The bulls give them the opportunity, and they hurry in and run them apart breaking up the fight for now!
