This is a video of a dance/performance art/event at the Kelly Stelling Contemporary gallery in Manchester NH on May 23rd, 2018. Inspired by “Beautiful Mess”, an immersive art experience by artist Sarah Meyers Brent, the dancer will be using movement to create moments of intensity, humor and peace that play off the exhibition’s underlying theme of motherhood.

Amanda Whitworth is a teaching artist residing in central New Hampshire with a passion for interdisciplinary collaboration and networking. She serves as the Director of Dance for the Music, Theatre and Dance Department at Plymouth State University. Amanda continues to work as a performer of dance and physical theatre with choreographers and organizations both nationally and internationally as well as her own multi-disciplinary project based company, Tributary Dance. Ms. Whitworth is committed to diversifying her work and collaborates with partners on large scale projects such as the Shaker Village Dance Revival Project at Canterbury Shaker Village and multi-grade arts integration projects at Ashland Elementary School. Additionally, Amanda serves as the President of the New Hampshire Dance Alliance and advocates for dance across our state.
