Short film documenting the collaboration between the People's Paper Co-op and the Philadelphia Community Bail fund to help free mothers for mothers day.
The People’s Paper Co-op’s Free Our Mother’s parade, began with a rally in the center of City Hall and became a platform for the women in our program to share their stories, dreams, and demands. Their artwork became both a powerful backdrop for the press conference, and their t-shirts were worn by over a hundred people who, during the parade, took over Philadelphia’s Broad Street while screaming chants written by women in reentry.
