Guitars like these were sold (along with violins, sheet music and other musical ephemera) by an organization called "First National Institute of Allied Arts" in the 1920s and 1930s. Solid wood all around, sparkly pickguard with matching gold sparkle dot inlays on the neck and painted gold binding around the top and back. Bought it on August 18, 2011, in Wichita, Kansas. I'm in love with it.
