"The tape part for Lisa's piece was created using three distinct elements. The first is a series of breath and air sounds, which create the base texture and punctuation. The second element of the tape part is a series of recited and whispered lines from the movie. The third is a musical adaptation of Georges Aperghis' "14 Récitations pour voix seule" (14 recitations for solo voice) . I used recitation 9, which states "parfois je resiste a mon envie vé sans tu jé parfois je lui cede pourquoi donc ce desir" and roughly translates as "sometimes I resist my desire/without you/sometimes I give in to him/why this desire."
Project inspired by Francois Truffaut's film
