Doris Ayala - a young Salvadoran woman describes and recounts a battle between Government military forces and the FLMN soldiers during the civil war in El Salvador. Many civilians were caught in the crossfire. Doris and her mother Dora barely survived this murderous battle. Many others did not survive.
After this battle Doris started having nightmares. She dreams in colour. In her nightmares she is shot, drowned, stabbed, killed in one way or another. Her nightmares are about Armageddon.
Doris was ten years when the battle took place. She was twenty-three when she recorded this interview. She did this without rehearsal and in one take only.
