At age 6, Brian Kelley was diagnosed with Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD) and was given little hope for a long future. This year, in 2018, Brian is turning 30 years old, defying the odds. This is his story.
This is a short film I co-produced with my good friend, Jeff Reilly, with help from the Kelley family, about their son, Brian.
Brian's social impact on the lives around him has reached much further than his small hometown of Branford, Connecticut. Despite his diagnosis, he continues to live a purposeful, impactful, and tremendously full life and is an inspiration to everyone he meets.
