Tim Rayne's short 'Songbird' is the second film in the 'Identity' trilogy. All films look at different elements of New Brunswick regionalism and culture from psychological, sociological and (cultural) anthropological perspectives. The first of the trilogy, 'Hopewell', explores 'the search' for regional identity in what could be considered an affectionate anti-tourism AD. 'Songbird' explores New Brunswick culture and tradition; Religion, Patriarchy, and Art (Music). The third film, 'Oldman', will be the final chapter of Rayne's 'Identity' trilogy.
