This 4th of July weekend wedding was one of the most memorable nuptials we've ever been a part of. Chris and Natalie are a modern day power couple. She is the Director of Emerging Platforms at Hollywood agency IDPR, and he is a Producer at funnyordie.com. Together, they brought LA to his hometown in Kenosha, WI, but the day before the wedding weekend, a crazy storm ripped through the town, uprooting trees and crushing a wall of the venue where the couple was initially going to tie the knot.
Every wedding is special to the couple, but not many couples spend the 48 hours before their big day re-planning the entire weekend from top to bottom! With incredible luck, a laid back attitude, and an outpouring of love from their friends and family, this couple did. Chris and Nat tied the knot in the beautiful Hawthorn Hallow Arboretum in front of their close-knit circle of family and friends, many of whom contributed to the wedding's special touches: a sweet rendition of The Way You Look Tonight was sung acapella by their friends from Harvard, and at least twenty people helped make delicious homemade apple pies in loving memory of Chris' mom Jane. It was an extraordinary weekend, and we felt so privileged to be there to capture it on film.
