Directed by Chase Bartee
Starring Alex Markwith
A surreal world of atmospheric moods, complex yet subtle dimensions of character, and exploration of both auditory and visual tones, Death of The West focuses on a young American male in the months preceding an act of extremism. The film explores concepts of intellectual radicalism, violence, religion, societal decay and mythology. An original score to the film has been provided by the filmmaker’s brother, Jordan Bartee, who has worked closely along side Chase in many of his previous projects.
