Here's a shot I shared with fellow animator Robyne Powell.
In order to come up with a solid game plan (for such a beast of a shot), Robyne, myself and Rani Naamani (animation lead on Minion) shot a ton of video reference of us acting out the scene. Robyne and I then spent some time picking out most of the "key beat" reference clips, which I then timed with the audio and rendered together as one video. This became the basis of our blocking pass.
Robyne was responsible for animating MegaMind. I was responsible for animating Minion.
