My first kick at the timelapse can, taken over six months in South America. The interval used changed over time as I learned to judge the motion I wanted to capture. I think the hardest lesson to internalize was taking my time composing the shot and getting proper exposure. I also all to frequently forgot to set one setting or other to manual, resulting in lost footage. Taking timelapse series in Buenos Aires, especially by yourself in the streets is definitely not wise -- petty theft thrives in Tangotown. It's tough enough to concentrate on the little details of setting up a shot without the constant worry of being robbed.
