These fires started north of Boynton Canyon on top of Secret Mountain and could be seen easily throughout the Sedona area. The fires were right above Enchantment Resort but are now moving north. Cause: Lightning - Predicted Smoke Impact Area: Oak Creek Canyon, Sedona, Verde Valley, Boynton Canyon, Enchantment Resort and Seven Canyons Resort. - Resources: No action being taken due to significant risk . Fire modeling indicates the fires will not pose a risk to communities and unlikely to grow out of the wilderness. Fires are being monitored.
