August 27-28, 2011, I got the opportunity to tackle the ultra classic Cascade Crest 100 Mile Endurance Run. Cascade Crest in well known as a very tough, and very scenic 100-miler, starting and finishing in Easton, Washington. The course is one large clockwise loop through the beautiful Cascades east of Seattle, including 20,470 ft of climbing, on 75% rugged trails and 25% dirt roads. It's the most difficult and most rewarding ultra I've ever attempted. Here's a compilation of ~23 minutes of video I shot along the way.
