This is a series of time lapses I did right after I got my intervalometer. I camped out on East Camino Cielo overlooking Carpinteria, Santa Barbara and Goleta. I did 3 different shots total.
The first sequence was a 15 sec exposure every 10 sec for 4 hours. I love the clouds rolling in over the city and seeing that glow make it's way through the fog.
The second sequence was the same except I took one shot every 6 seconds. Definitely wish this one could have been longer, but my battery died about an hour and a half into it and I was sleeping so I never noticed until the sun started to rise.
The last sequence of the sunrise was a little difficult. I'm not sure how to compensate for the dark to bright lighting so some shots came out a little funky.
Overall, I am pleased with how they came out. Especially for my first time.
Everything was shot on a Canon 7d with a Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8. The song is Fear of Flying by the Album Leaf.
