Four architects discuss their experience of design and consequent occupation; of home making without hand-over.
The first Architects Inhabit symposium was held in March 2010: New Order, saw Peter Carroll (A2 Architects) , Peter Cody (Boyd Cody Architects), Michelle Fagan (FKL Architects) present their own homes: the design, construction and ultimate occupancy and how that process relates to preoccupations in architecture and inhabitation.
This event focuses on habitat responses within a existing context; referring to the space as found, the extent of reconfiguration/ conservation and the ongoing process of occupation.
