Sixpack Group Rides - EVERY Friday of the fall starting 8/26
A Harrisonburg tradition for over a decade. The Six Pak Downhills are a very fun and VERY informal group ride in the mountains West of Harrisonburg. Each week is a new trail somewhere in the George Washington National Forest. Location is announced that Friday in the Food Lion Parking Lot on 42 South. Carpool and group meet up is always at the Food Lion on South 42. The group leaves the parking lot in cars at 3:00pm each Friday of the fall. The Ride consists of a casual leisurely pace to climb up the mountain and then a very informal "race" back down the mountain. Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to participate especially if you have never ridden in the mountains around town.
