Three researchers from the fields of heritage, public history, and film practice talk about their shared interest in climate change. How does an enhanced awareness of people's cultural identity and their attachment to place help us to understand the implications of climate change in local and global ways? 'Troubled Waters: heritage in times of accelerated climate change' was a research project funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council UK (2015-16) and has since led to further research and collaboration across geographical and disciplinary borders. This film helps to convey the background and context of this ongoing work.
