My dad used to tell me, 'cause I was really clever with my hands, he said, "Well one day you should become a dentist," and that was on the top of my head. So when it got to the time when I have to choose a career, I thought dentistry was a good option because you can put in practise all the knowledge that you need to get all over those five years and you can also help people to improve their smile, make them feel confident about themself, and sometimes we can actually change people life.
My part of the years at the job at Pure Dental Health is treating gum disease and people that have gum problems. I have done some Master degree, a Master of Periodontics and Dental Implants. I'm currently doing a sedation course which will alow me to offer patients sedation.
As a dentist, I think it's important to improve the mind skills and keep up to date. I find periodontics very interesting because you need to be really precise, really meticulous with, for example, if you're doing a periodontal surgery, and nowadays we tend to be as minimal invasive as possible. Obviously the less damage you do to the teeth, the best results you will get and the long-term prognosis of the teeth will be much, much better.
I think the beauty about Pure Dental Health, the first thing is the customer service, is the staff. They're really friendly, they really care about the patients and that's the most important thing, I believe. We work as a team and we just find out the best option for the patient before deciding. We have the latest technology, cutting edge technology, so we can offer all patients the best treatment they can ever have. And obviously that's the aim, to keep the patient happy and make sure the treatment that we do is going to last for a long time.
