Two strangers with wildly divergent worldviews are trapped in a car together on a Craigslist ride-share through the Badlands of Utah.
Galactivated is a comedy about Big Ideas. Inspired by dialogue-centric films like My Dinner with Andre and Before Sunrise, our two leads are a real-life professor of philosophy and a true new-age spiritual seeker, who both really know their stuff. Mostly improvised and filmed on a shoe-string budget with a crew of four, the film explores the differences between two characters with wildly divergent worldviews, but a common sensitivity and humanity. Set against the transcendent background of the Utah desert, the conversation ranges from shamanism to Freud, the divine feminine to rational materialism, and of course: how to get "galactivated".
