Over the past 22 years the Stockholm Junior Water Prize has brought together some of the world’s brightest young minds. Each year, thousands of students from all over the globe enter national competitions in the hope of making it to the international final in Stockholm. The competition aims to encourage young people’s interest in water and the environment. It is open to students aged between 15 and 20 who have conducted water-related projects. The winner is announced, and presented by the Stockholm Junior Water Prize patron, H.R.H. Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden during an official ceremony at World Water Week.
