Hotel|Kitchen was created in partnership with the World Wildlife Fund and the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA), with support from The Rockefeller Foundation. Through research and a series of demonstration projects with properties across the country, innovative strategies were identified to engage staff, partners and guests in cutting waste from commercial kitchens.
Ned Barker, former VP of Food and Beverage for InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG). Currently, he is the founder of the consulting practice, Grill Ventures. Ned works with lodging companies to develop food and beverage operational best practices.
Dr. Steve Schein, a corporate sustainability strategist and family business advisor at L4S Consulting. A former CEO with more than 35 years of leadership, business development, consulting and senior management experience in a wide range of industries. His primary areas of consulting are family business advising, leadership development and integration of sustainability with strategy and culture.
