Currently I am a Professor of Computer Graphics at the Colorado Art Institute, and sit on the Advisory Board of the Colorado Film School. My demo reel is posted as reference about my background when I worked at Industrial Light + Magic.
I did all the lighting and effects work for the CGI elements, and much of the compositing, on all shots. Of course there were many talented artists and crew who contributed modeling, animating, rigging, texture painting, rotoscoping, compositing, practical effects, and all the other skills to create the final shots.
I also supervised teams of ILM artists in the technical and artistic look development process, especially in the Scarab Beetle sequences from THE MUMMY, the Rock Monster sequences from GALAXY QUEST and the Droid Factory sequences from STAR WARS Episode II: Attack of the Clones.
Scenes from CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER were created with the folks at Kleiser-Walczak Studios, and scenes from PULSE were created with the folks at The Orphanage.
