Auto Dealerships now have the ability to make voice calls from within our TEXT2DRIVE software. Dealership employees can use their phone to call customers without using their personal information. It’s faster than dialing and all calls are recorded and saved for training and verification purposes. I'm excited to announce another great new feature from TEXT2DRIVE - Voice. TEXT2DRIVE’s new voice feature provides the users with the ability to make and receive phone calls without giving out their personal number to customers. In addition to protecting an employee’s number, Voice will also log a complete recording of each inbound or outbound call within a customer's TEXT2DRIVE profile.
Review and communications with customers as a breeze when you can see texts and calls side-by-side within TEXT2DRIVE. Here's how to use it.
To get started, navigate to your profile, check that the phone number you're about to verify is correct. If you have an extension, add it right here. Since we don't have an extension, in this case, you'll just click verify. Once you see this menu, click Request PIN, and TEXT2DRIVE will call your phone.
There's the number it’s about to call from. Call is coming in, answer it, listen for the code…
Your PIN is 3108. Press any key to hear your PIN again.
Hang up on that call and press Submit. Your number is now verified as shown here.
Now that we’re verified we’ll want to call a customer. For that let's head to the repair order page, search for who we want to call, in this case Norm Crawford, click on their number to start a cell chat.
From the Actions menu select Call Phone. Make sure that's the number you want to call out from. If not you can select them from the list and then click Start Call.
TEXT2DRIVE will call your device before calling the customer…
Speaking with Norm. Press 1 to continue.
When prompted, press 1 and you'll be connected to your customer…
This call may be recorded.
Norm: Uh, hi Norm. We’re, uh, just giving you a call. We’re just wrapping up your vehicle and just want to let you know you’ll only be able to pick up until about 6 today, so you'll need to be in before that.
Gregg: Ok, I’ll do my best to get in and if not, can I pick it up in the morning? Is that ok?
Norm: Oh, of course, absolutely.
Gregg: Ok, well thanks for the call, Norm. I really appreciate it.
Norm: No problem, Gregg. Talk to you later.
Gregg: Ok, bye bye.
Hang up on that call, and within seconds you'll see a full recording pop up in your Cell Chat within your TEXT2DRIVE. You can download this call, listen to it right up from your webpage, or save it for later.
Now that you've made a call, the customer can call back at any time and be routed back using TEXT2DRIVE’s artificial intelligence, either to the advisor who just called them, or to any advisor that has an open RO for them. If neither one of those can be found, the customer will be routed to your dealership’s main line instead, so we make sure nobody ever gets missed.
Once these calls have been made you can always check back to see more information about that call from their customer profile. It's as simple as clicking on their name, navigating to messages, and then right there you can see or download any call that's been made to them. All customer communication, both text and voice, is stored within the customers TEXT2DRIVE profile. This makes it easy to review and authenticate any customer-to-employee communication. TEXT2DRIVE, your dealerships complete communications platform.
