As part of a large upcoming exhibit at the Kearney Area Children's Museum, I created an interactive electronic control panel that includes many interactive features for kids to play with.
In this project, high brightness LEDs have been mounted onto arches of plumber's tape to give them some throw distance to create a more diffuse light onto pieces of frosted plexiglass mounted to a wooden form.
The LEDs are all connected to a single Teensy (one per display), which has a small sketch to fade and blink all of the LEDs in an interesting way.
Thanks to Adrian Sanabria-Diaz for wiring up all of the LEDs and helping to program the Teensys!
