Laguna Beach, CA
Bre and George are the kind of couple that creates a spark in anyone and everyone they are around. When I first met George, seeing his jagged edge shaved side burns, I thought, "Woah, super hardcore gangster status" but as we started to shoot together, and especially after shooting his message to Bre, I instantly thought, "Cuddly sweet teddy bear" haha! Bre, has her princess smile and funny facial expressions that keep her friends happy.
The whole wedding day was at the 7˚ Gallery in Laguna Beach (seven-degrees.com) where the two got ready in separate places with quite a bit of anticipation. When it came time for the reveal, George was overly excited to see her, like a little boy about to get a $10 shopping spree at the local candy store.
I guess I have taken for granted my ability to witness everything on the wedding day, but I am realizing that it is such a privilege to shoot things like the reveal / messages where I really get to see into the hearts of the bride and groom.
The ceremony on the back deck of the gallery at the foot of the Laguna Canyon was gorgeous. Bre and George teared it up during their vows, and the family members hooted and hollered for them. The reception was pretty epic too with an amazing lighting system provided by the venue to light up the fantastic decorations the couple chose.
Overall, the day was fun, and I had a blast being goofy with you guys - Bre and George, thanks for letting me be a part of your day you two, keep serving God and making people smile.
Fun working with photog Chris, which made for some great shots -- and his sweet assistant let me try out a tilt shift she had. checkout their work @ whitehautephotography.com/
