St John of God Murdoch Hospital is leading a world first falls study to ascertain the rate of falls, the cost of falls (analysed using Medicare and Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme data) and quality of life and functional outcomes (ability to perform activities of daily living) in the 12 months after major joint replacement.
