Listen as Chris King explains what constitutes medical malpractice in the state of Texas.
The first requirement is that you have to obtain an expert report from a doctor that provides in detail what the medical provider did wrong before you can bring a case to the courthouse. Lawyers who review malpractice cases will need to evaluate all of your medical records and then have them evaluated by an expert who will write the report. Again, if you have no report, you have no case. Thus, lawyers in Texas will be very selective about whether to bring your case to court. Watch the video to learn more.
