Abstract: We introduce GeoBlob, an abstract representation of spatio-temporal data dedicated to conveying uncertain positions and uncertain temporal information of entities that move over time. We describe the preliminary design space of GeoBlobs by exploring variations of the technique to visualize data extracted from hand-written World War One diaries, which is our driving context and motivation for this project.
