The Arizona Legislature has proposed to cut $1.5 billion from education budgets over the next year and a half.

They plan to cut state aid for K-12 education by about $900 million — 20 percent of the current funding for Arizona's already underfunded schools.

They also proposed a cut of $243 million to the Arizona University System for the current fiscal year and $388 million for the next — about 30 percent of the university system's state aid.

But you can stop them. You can speak up.
