This project aims to highlight the richness of Hermès' creative processes

surrounding the world of silk. The spectator is invited to discover the different

facets of this product through several playful experiences in store, which

include the main steps in the creation of the Hermès squares, which offer a

a surprising encounter with the world of silk.

This installation offers the customer a new perspective on the traditional

square Hermès which actually hides a large number of surprises, that the customer is

invited to discover through several interactive steps.

While the customer is usually only intended to have contact with the product

finished, these installations offer him to move to the other side of the set during a

a series of unique interactive experiences that allow her to discover stories and

anecdotes about the manufacture of scarves. More than just representations

of the different stages of creation, these installations offer the customer a moment

magical and privileged in the heart of the traditional world of silk printing, the

thus bringing behind the scenes of a rich, traditional but still important profession

yet innovative through Hermès, through its methods of application and

adaptation that make the Hermès scarf, a product that can be declined infinitely.

The scarf thus releases its mysteries for a brief moment in order to give the customer a glimpse of

the charms of its history, in a privileged relationship that takes it beyond its status

as a simple accessory.

By combining the traditional gestures of the sellers who present the scarves in

leaflets on the table and digital devices for their detection, the

animation principle is based on a game of round trips between virtual screen and scarf

real. This visual pretext makes it possible to mix tradition and technology to present

a variety of Hermès scarves in a more playful way, also allowing a look

new from the customer on this iconic product.

This game of appearance, disappearance through the headscarf is the guiding principle of

animation and allows smooth transitions to express the important steps of

the history of silk.
