The Kutsche Office of Local History is offering several internship opportunities for Grand Valley students who are passionate about presenting history to a public audience. Internships are open to all students maintaining a GPA of at least a 2.5. All internships take place in community history organizations that collect and preserve their community’s history. Students accepted into the Kutsche Office of Local History Internship Program will:
→Discover the Significance of Cultural Institutions to Local Communities
→Receive Training in Basic Archiving
→Conduct Research on Historical Documents & Artifacts
→Participate in the Annual Round Table Meeting of local history organizations
→Attend a session honoring interns for their achievements
→Provide feedback on their internship to the incoming group of Kutsche Office Interns
*Some internships may be considered for class credit according to the requirements set up by their department.
