North Yorkshire life, landscape and culture will be brought to life on the big screen for the first time as part of an archive film festival that takes place across the county from 23rd September – 5th October. Audiences will have the unique opportunity to view rare home movie footage taken from the archives over the past cenutury, alongside well known feature films made in the county in a range of venues including village halls, stately homes, cinemas, a pub, and even a railway station. Highlights include a screening of ‘Chariots of Fire’ at Hales Bar in Harrogate, Ken Annakin’s ’We of The West Riding’ at Richmond Station and 'Among Giants' featuring Q&A with screenwriter Simon Beaufoy.
