Listen as Mike Snure details the rules surrounding having a criminal history event in Florida expunged or sealed.
There are three main eligibility rules in order to have a record sealed. The first is that you cannot have a prior conviction.
The second is that you cannot have been convicted of the offense that you want sealed.
Third, you cannot have previously had a record sealed. Remember, we can only try to get a record sealed if the charge was dropped, if it was dismissed or if the judge withheld adjudication of guilt.
These requests are complicated, so you need an experienced criminal defense attorney to assist you.
