Centered around an installation called "Spirit of the City," which was designed by London-based firm United Visual Artists, we invited Brooklyn dance phenom Storyboard P to interact with it. The installation consists of a series of mirrored columns, each nine feet tall, which spin according to various data gathered from New York residents. People are invited to walk in and around the columns, which are meant to create the sense of bewilderment that comes with getting lost in a big, new city for the first time. To further underscore the messaging of the installation, we've asked dancer Storyboard P to improvise a dance around it.
