Ramos, Senior Editor and Project Consultant at Arte Público Press, hosted the second in a series of four virtual discussions gathering social impact innovators, thought leaders and changemakers to outline a progressive new vision for next-generation civic engagement, economic security, justice and shared prosperity in the United States.

For this discussion, Ramos welcomed Cristina Jimenez, Executive Director and Co-Founder of United We Dream; Calvin Williams, Cultural Strategist at Movement Strategy Center; and Surina Khan, CEO of the Women’s Foundation of California.

Together the panel discussed actionable innovations and strategies in civic engagement; emerging modalities in public activism; and impactful efforts to advance multicultural leadership development, public advocacy and community organizing.
