J.J. Villarruel scored the only touchdown for the Raiders Friday night on a kickoff return, but probably should have been credited with a second one. This first-quarter 6-point precursor was nullified on a close call when it appeared the Raider sophomore's knee touched the ground. It looks as though Villarruel's left knee did not touch in this video as a shadow line below the knee appears in each frame, even at his knee's lowest point. The shadow would have disappeared if contact had been made. Obviously, the kickoff returner in maintaining his balance didn't think his knee touched as he continued up the field.
