The Musee d'Orsay, which opened in Paris in Dec. of 1986, has an unusual architectural history. In a bold stroke of innovation, the French converted the abandoned train station Gare d'Orsay into a grand museum which holds mainly French art dating from 1848 to 1915.
For those of you who haven't yet visited this museum, or already have and wish to revisit it, you have a unique opportunity to do so here. This is the only video on the internet which extensively reveals the interior of the Musee d'Orsay. I was lucky enough to have shot this footage a while ago, BEFORE they stopped allowing amateur photography and videotaping altogether - my pain is your gain.
So kick back, relax, and enjoy this virtual tour of what is surely one of the world's most beautiful museums.
