The project is a journey. During the years 2003 and 2004 OPA traveled across Europe by a 40 years old car. The journey was carried out by modest means thus variety of adventures and difficulties occurred. The visa applications, fight with embassies’ administration rules, car breakdowns during bad weather conditions and lack of money when important spare parts were needed for the car, were recurring obstacles. The documentation of the journey became a critical commentary to the Schengen wall and what it is representing to the artists from the Balkans. Even though OPA lived and worked under the umbrella of different cultural institutions and received support from the European Union for the journey.
On the other hand, the car itself became much more than a means of transport, it turned into a tool of communication with the people.
