This was a really big class project known as "Portrait of a Place."
Were given the opportunity to shoot any subject we wished so long as we were able to make a coherent story describing the event, person, or place we shot.
I decided to focus on the lake behind 15th Street in Tuscaloosa. It was one of the places most damaged by the Tuscaloosa tornado. Interestingly, it was also one of the places constructionists and individuals of good-will started working on first.
The area is in a constant unfinished state lending itself to Tuscaloosa's overall acceptance of The New Normal.
