Drawing I, II and III is a durational performance series, in which Mendes draws a circle, first with the right hand, and afterwards with the let one, using a graphite pencil until it finishes. The drawings represent the movement of her two arms in connection with the brain. The work is part of her on-going research 'On Drawing' that explores the intersection between thinking and drawing, collaborating with several neuroscientists.
