Henry A. J. Ramos, Senior Editor and Project Consultant at Arte Público Press, hosted the third in a series of four virtual discussions gathering social impact innovators, thought leaders and changemakers to outline a progressive new vision for next-generation civic engagement, economic security, justice and shared prosperity in the United States.
For this discussion, Ramos welcomed Zachary Norris, Executive Director of Ella Baker Center for Human Rights; Felicia Wong, President and CEO of Roosevelt Institute; and Derecka Mehrens, Executive Director of Working Partnerships USA.
Together, the panel discussed the need for massive economic reform in America, and how we can mobilize and deploy progressive people power and new policy models to expand economic opportunity, and tear down persistent and growing structural barriers to economic inclusion.
