Some people blame homelessness on addiction problems. But George Sidwell had been clean and sober for 17 years when he found himself out on the street. A minor stroke led to a number of problems and homelessness. Real Change helped George get back on his feet. He's housed again and an active participant on the Vendor Advisory Board. He advocates for vendors, and also for the wider community of people experiencing homelessness by working with the advocacy department to fight for legislative change at City Hall.
