Dr. Thomas Groome opens CWCIT’s new 2018-19 Spiritual Works of Mercy series, addressing the work of mercy of "sharing the faith," by examining the roots of and reasons for a Catholic education. Catholic education reflects and proposes the deep truths and values of the faith itself. With Jesus as the core and developing throughout the 2,000-year-old conversation between faith and culture we call the Catholic intellectual tradition, this faith foundation and purpose, as Groome explains, should permeate the whole curriculum of Catholic education.
