After two days of struggling against light variable winds, sometimes being totally calmed, Tiki Itatae finally arrived island of Vis on 15th September.
Due to the weather situation we had to alter our course and skip our inital plan to reach Komiža in the opposite side of Vis… so, decision was made to head to the nearest remote cove – in the mouth of Stonciča bay particularly – to participate World Cleanup Day with our own beach clean up event.
Nevertheless we were eager to meet activists from Geopark Vis Archipelago and hear their story about Cleanup action in Kamenica bay near Komiža.
On 16th Tiki Itatae sailed around the Vis island to Komiža were we received a very warm welcome by Nautical Centre of Komiža and Geopark Vis Archipelago.
Few days later we had lovely trip to Biševo island.
After visiting the magical Blue Cave we sat on the doorstep of old an house and Dalka and Maria shared their experience with World Cleanup Day.
